Area Manager

Il candidato prescelto si occuperà, a supporto dell’ufficio commerciale, di:

  • • Gestire i punti vendita nell’area di competenza.
  • • Ampliare il business, cogliendo tutte le nuove opportunità.
  • • Implementare le strategie commerciali e promozionali sul territorio.
  • • Champion process improvement to drive quality and best practice.
  • • Work with the QA and Development team and Problem Analyst to develop QA automation processes.
  • • Support junior testers by reviewing work and providing feedback.

Senior C++ Software Developer

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The Senior C++ Software Developer will solve problems as well as design, develop and integrate them as part of an interactive team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • • Work closely with business managers, User Experience engineers and Technical Lead to design application solutions.
  • • Apply development expertise to everyday development activities to ensure long term scalability and maintainability of products.
  • • Write great documentation and provide ample "testability".
  • • Communicate constantly, usefully, and precisely.
  • • Provide the Project Manager with reliable estimates for technical work and review risk lists for completeness and accuracy.
  • • Work with the QA lead to ensure timelines are met, and risk is mitigated.
  • • Establish and evangelize best practices and methodologies.
  • • Deliver high-quality components that meet all project requirements.
  • • Design, develop, and manage all technical aspects of the project.

KNOWLEDGE, ATTRIBUTES, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL

  • • 5+ years in C++, linux development
  • • Skilled in STL, template and design pattern use.
  • • UML and OO development skills.
  • • Database skills, specifically with PostgreSQL.
  • • Experience with multi-threading and TCP / socket programming.

DESIRABLE

  • • XML messaging systems.
  • • Use of boost libraries.
  • • Qt development skills, GUI design.
  • • Knowledge of other languages (Perl, PHP), Web services (Axis2, GSoap).
  • • Demonstrated knowledge of version control tools (e.g. CVS, SVN).

Linux / Postgres Database Administrator

Summary:

The Linux System Administrator will join a small Linux team managing the day to day running of a number of high transactional betting systems as well as other ancillary systems. The role will include some weekend and early / late working as well as participation in a weekly on-call rota.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • • System profiling and performance optimization
  • • Securing servers
  • • Incident and problem management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • • 5 years of commercial Linux experience with Debian ( preferred ) or RHEL / CentOS
  • • Experience with a number of the following : Apache, Nginx, Bind, Samba, Exim, Nagios, Postgres, MySQL, Squid
  • • Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Munin, Zenoss, Smokeping
  • • Strong scripting skills with a number of the following: Bash, Perl, Python, Php, ruby
  • • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
  • • Strong Documentation Skills
  • • Experience planning, documenting and implementing system changes
  • • Must be able to communicate fluently in written and spoken English.
  • • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
  • • Strong communication skills
  • • Must be able to work on-call and on a shift basis

DESIRABLE:

  • • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux / Windows interoperability
  • • Working knowledge of ITIL methodology & processes, particular around service support , service operation – V2/V3 ( latter preferable).
  • • Knowledge of HP Hardware and VMWare

VB6 & .NET Mid-Level programmer

PRIMARY PURPOSE

A VB6&VB.net Mid-Level programmer is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, testing, documenting and supporting new and existing in-house application to support the company’s expanded products and services.

As a Mid Level Programmer you will:

  • • Execute incident and problem management processes in order to meet agreed KPI's
  • • Serve as system support for one or more complex information systems
  • • Serve as helpdesk operational support
  • • Analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion
  • • Provide general programming assistance to other projects as needed
  • • Translate customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written
  • • Assist in training users in the use of newly developed or modified software
  • • Provide status reports where required

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

Your technical profile:

  • • Evidence of successful work experience as a VB6 and VB.net programmer in a professional business environment
  • • SQL, Microsoft Office experience
  • • Windows XP and Windows 7 experience
  • • Flexibility to work on-call and on a shift basis is essential as 24 x 7 working is in operation
  • • Proven competence in analysis, design, development, and testing solutions
  • • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • • Must possess demonstrated customer service and problem solving skills with a strong desire to work towards solutions and a willingness to assist program users
  • • Experience with documenting procedures

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • • Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver to a high standard whilst under pressure
