Summary:
As the C# / .NET developer you will be joining a growing new dynamic team, taking a significant role in all technical aspects of design and development. This exciting position will allow you to play a key role in the next generation of Stanleybet’s systems.
Responsibilities:
- • Design and implementation of new functionality with agreement from our architecture team
- • Production of high quality, maintainable code, documenting of new and modified functionality.
- • Writing, maintaining and documenting unit and integration tests.
- • Heavy participation in solution design, system development and operational implementation
Requirements:
Essential
- • 5+ years current experience in C# & .NET (3.5 & 4) to a deep technical level
- • Experience of building core business systems in MS technologies, not just front ends
- • Experience of Microsoft solutions and tools inc. Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
- • Ability to write clear, well structured, well performing C# code
- • Strong object orientated design and development experience
- • SQL Server 2005 / 2008 experience including SQL and stored procedures
- • Excellent knowledge of MVC architecture / approach
- • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Desirable
- • University degree in numerical / science based discipline.
- • Expertise in multithreading, high performance systems & high availability solutions
- • Experience of working in an agile development environment.
- • Knowledge of Microsoft LINQ and WPF.
- • Knowledge of other languages (C++, Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python, etc).
- • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XHTML, XML, AJAX
- • Microsoft Certified - Professional Developer (MCPD), etc. an advantage
